Abstract

The Covid 19 epidemic has an unprecedented media component in the history of medicine, this added to the lack of leadership of governments and specialized institutions, has generated thousands of voices with equivocal messages, generated from personal experiences and not from a scientific method. This editorial is a wake-up call to the ineffectiveness shown in decision-making and implementation of health policies, which have been taken in the heat of the moment
