Abstract

The term seizure, as a medical definition, may differ from the use that tends to be given to it in the general population; it refers to paroxysmal and episodic episodes of abnormal, excessive and hypersynchronous brain electrical activity resulting in transient visual, motor, somatosensory signs and/or symptoms. or behavior.
