Abstract
Having timely, efficient data and resilient information systems in the health field is essential for real-time monitoring of critical events that impact epidemiological surveillance and public health. This article focuses on showing a methodology for optimizing the operation of the database engines of the information systems of the Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador focused on arboviral diseases and malaria, with the purpose of improving the capacity for early detection. timely analysis and effective response to events of epidemiological importance.
