Comments on research in Family Medicine
Abstract
The production of research is a spontaneous process in our environment, so motivating the publication of policies and possible strategies is key, the space offered by your journal is ideal. Recently in the article "Research in Family and Community Medicine in Ibero-America" (1), it is shown that 64% of the respondents do not have active research lines, but it highlights that in those who research there is a balance between the topics related to the clinical practice, teaching and health systems and services, which seems to be a favorable scenario for the regional scientific community, however there is only an Ecuadorian contribution, to this it is added that the main source of funding for this type of research is the own pocket.
