Evaluation of hip neonates/children
Abstract
Hip dysplasia in the newborn. It is an anomaly of development whose search is essential in the assessment of newborns: their diagnosis and early management can prevent children from having sequelae that can last throughout their lives (1). Hip pain in children and adolescents is common and has a wide range of causes, ranging from benign to potentially devastating (2).
METHOD: we use the critical reading method performed in an analytical way. This means that in addition to understanding what is said in a given text, an attempt is made to analyze what has been expressed to verify its successes, its errors and the ways in which the information is presented. We seek to have a vision of the facts presented, trying to corroborate what is affirmed with other sources.
