COVID-19: vaccines
Abstract
A review of the existing evidence to date of this publication is carried out, of the vaccines against Covid, there is a great inequity in access to these vaccines between high-income countries, with poor countries, and within the latter .
Developed countries have begun an aggressive vaccination process in their populations, forgetting that the success or failure of vaccines depends on the number of immunizations that are achieved throughout the planet and not only in some territories.
A survey conducted in Ecuador shows that 40% of those surveyed are not willing to be vaccinated, this exemplifies the complexity that Latin American countries must face to overcome their economic, cultural and technical limitations that limit the success of vaccination in the poor populations.
